X-rays may be taken on a patient to give the doctor an inside look at what is going on with the bone structure of the spine and surrounding skeletal structure. From this x-ray, the doctor can tell your current spine structure. Degenerative changes, spinal curvatures, and congenital anomalies are often seen. In addition, more serious pathology including fratures, tumors, or infections of bone can also sometimes be seen. You need for X-ray analysis will be determined after having a history and examination by your chiropractor. In most cases X-rays are not necessary.
