Abbott Northwestern Hospital opened a Specialty Care Center in Sartell in December of 2001.

Convenient access to specialized health care is a distinguishing feature of the quality of life enjoyed by Minnesotans. Abbot Northwestern Hospital prides itself on being accessible to the people of Minnesota. Each year the hospital's more than 1,300 physicians provide care to more than 180,000 patients statewide.

As Central Minnesota has flourished in recent years, Abbott Northwestern has responded by establishing St. Cloud Area Health Services and building the Specialty Care Center.

The center, which offers outpatient surgery and diagnostic services, is the first phase of a 40-acre medical campus that will enrich the economic vigor and quality of life enjoyed in the area.

The center is visible and easily accessible from Highway 15 in Sartell, a major north-south route intersecting all major routes through the St. Cloud area. (see map at the bottom)

Hjort Chiropractic was asked by Abbott Northwestern to be a part of its Specialty Care Center. Doctor Hjort works within the Orthopaedic Institute with the medical specialists; this integration of chiropractic with the medical specialties leads to better patient outcomes and greater patient satisfaction.
